Stina Persson fuses the ethereal with edgy for a look that is appreciated by numerous clients, including Louis Vuitton, Vogue, Sony Music and Nike, among others. After 15 years spent in Japan, Italy and New York, she is now based in Stockholm.
Her fourth piece for Wonderwall is a large-scale ink drawing, where big brush strokes create the 50s-styled dress, and a twig dipped in ink was used when drawing the face, to achieve the smoother uneven lines. Where Stina’s other pieces for Wonderwall are flirting with the colorful 70′s, this is more of a nod to the sophisticated 50′s and Truman Capote’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
